Letlhogonolo Maimane

Letlhogonolo Maimane is an experienced attorney having had started his career as a Candidate Attorney at Malatji, Mohosh and Pooe Attorneys and Conveyancers with an LLB Degree from the University of Johannesburg and an LLM in Mineral, Extractive Law & Petroleum Use from the University of Cape Town specialising in Negotiating Mining Contracts and Oil and Gas. Mr Maimane was admitted in 2023 and further continued to work under MMP Attorneys as a Junior Associate.

Mr Maimane has experience in civil litigation both in the Magistrate’s Court and High Court. His field of expertise is civil litigation, mining and energy law, commercial law, family law and third party claims.

Vusi Charles Motshoene

Mr Vusi Motshoene is a full-time consultant at Maimane Attorneys Inc. He is an experienced legal consultant having had started a career in the public sector at the office of the Public Protector as an investigator and eventually ended up as an Assistant Director of investigations. Mr Motshoene is experienced in public law and forensic investigations with a career of over 20 years in public service. Mr Motshoene has experience with legislations such as the Municipal Financial Act, Administration of Justice Act, PFMA, etc.

Amongst many other things, Mr Motshoene was employed as a Deputy Director of Investigations at the Military Ombudsman, a position he diligently serviced until his departure from it. Mr Motshoene has the following qualifications:

• BJuris Degree and LLB Degree from VISTA University (Currently University of Pretoria)
• Certificate in Forensic Investigation and Auditing from the University of South Africa (UNISA)
